Shock Horror: The weather forecast got to the FWAS and AWAS members in a big way. A total of 7 people turned out and 3 (including Tony P) of those turned up when the rain had died down to virtually nothing around lunchtime. However the FWAS chairman braved the elements and arrived about 1030 hrs and proceeded to shoot in the rain with Adrian. They were the only two shooting all morning! Any more of this display and the Chairman may have to consider his position. Adrian managed to shoot the horns off the 3D near the bomb crater on the Fleet Ibex Black course. In the process the arrow broke behind the pile which was completely embedded in one of the horns, We dug that out and also did a spot of light gardening to find 2 more of Adrian’s arrows that narrowly missed the target . A bad habit with that target that Adrian is trying to get out of.
Keith and Terry were out and about plotting part of the course for the open shoot on April 4. There is plenty of bracken around to shoot at if you don’t want to hit the targets... Terry is now a qualified Field Archery Coach , congratulations. More Coaches are needed in the South if any one has the time and inclination to get trained. If so contact the NFAS http://www.nfas.net/
