Rules of the Society (herein known as FWAS)

 

1. With regard to shooting, Political Correctness is not allowed in any physical, mental, documentary or as yet discovered form by members of FWAS.

 

2. Consequent to Rule 1, no activities or membership will be allowed that involve CRB checks or anything of that ilk. Incidents of political correctness will be assessed with regard to continued membership of FWAS.

 

3. Members seen or reported and verified to have been shooting (not just wandering to the toilet and suchlike) in rain or snow will be immediately transferred to membership of AWAS (All Weather Archers Society)  http://www.AWAS.org.uk .

 

4. Carrying of umbrellas is allowed but not by a member who is, or intending to shoot in inclement weather.

 

5. Members must not encourage non members, including members of AWAS  http://www.AWAS.org.uk , to join FWAS.

 

6. Rules cannot be changed by FWAS members alone, at least 3 members of AWAS  http://www.AWAS.org.uk  must agree to any proposed new or amended rule.

 

 

 

Membership is free and may be given to you as a gift by another person. However, evidence of suitability is required. This may be in the form of photographs or verified reports, including time, place and witnesses.
