If  you are an archer who has issues with inclement weather and/or gravity then this is the society for you!

The Society was founded  in late 2009 by some members of the Fleet Ibex Field Archery club, website http://www.fleetibexfieldarchery.co.uk

The Chairman and founder member of the society is Mr Peter Newman, also known as “Beyondelp” . The administrator is Keith Stay, keith@keithstay.freeserve.co.uk

If you are not sure that this is the society for you then consider:

Do you suffer from uncontrolled gravity events on slippery ground?

Do you shoot indoors if wet weather is forecast on your shooting day?

Do you wait in your clubhouse for the rain to stop if it raining when you arrive at your club?

Do you run for cover when the first few spots of rain fall?

Do you pack up and go home half way through a competition when it starts to rain?

Do you use a bow that has a poor varnish finish?

Do you use linen string on your bow?

Is beeswax a strange substance to your perception?

Do you oil your arrows rather than varnishing them?

Do your glasses get covered in spray when shooting wet arrows?

Do you have AQUAPHOBIA, a morbid fear of water?

If you answer Yes to one or more of these questions then this is the society for you.

Membership is free and may be given to you as a gift by another person. However, evidence of suitability is required. This may be in the form of photographs or verified reports, including time, place and witnesses.
